Elevating Health and Hope For High Risk Populations

The Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network is proud to announce this year’s statewide conference, scheduled for Friday, September 27 at Trevecca Community Church in Nashville.

This year’s theme is "Elevating Hope and Help for High-Risk Populations." We will focus on outreach, education, and strategies for people at high risk of suicide. We will also offer a presentation on how to talk safely and effectively about suicide—online, to friends and colleagues, and in traditional/social media.

We are excited that two state department Commissioners will make appearances at this event:

  • Marie Williams from the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services

  • Ralph Alvarado, MD, from the Tennessee Department of Health.

Other presenters and speaker announcements are forthcoming.

This year's event features enhanced sponsorship benefits. For example, Platinum sponsors will have their logo on our website and our monthly newsletter, which reaches thousands of readers each month.

You may submit sponsorship forms and related questions to TSPN Executive Assistant Christina Allen at callen@tspn.org.

We look forward to having you join us for this year’s conference, as a sponsor or as a guest. Your involvement indicates your dedication to showing Tennesseans how to prevent suicide in their communities.
